Join 5-piece a capella group Rattlebag for their family friendly singaround at the Fishermen’s museum.

A free family friendly arts and crafts workshop to create a garland or headdress for Jack in the Green.

Dancing at The Stade and around the Old Town
Morris sides perform around the Old Town and showcase their dances at the Stade Open Space
Cancelled - The Big Ceilidh with Brown Boots Boogie band
Unfortunately due to the ongoing Southern Water situation this event has had to be cancelled.
Refunds will be sent out through the White Rock Theatre system.

Dancing around the Old Town
Host sides Hastings RX Morris and Hannah’s Cat kick off the dancing at the Stade Open Space, near the Hastings Contemporary. Sides from around the country perform before venturing into the Old Town and along seafront for further dancing.
Pub Session
Start the weekend off with a music and song session at The Stag. For all those who want to sing, play, dance or just enjoy the live music with a pint.
The Museum of British Folklore and why we need one
Simon Costin, long time Hastings Traditional Jack in the Green (HTJITG) supporter, Director of the Museum of British Folklore and co-curator and designer of Making Mischief: Folk Costume in Britain, talks about his take on HTJITG and how the museum project came to be created and all the various exhibitions culminating in the Making More Mischief project.
