Please find below some accessibility information on Hastings Traditional Jack in the Green venues and events. There are car parks in the Old Town but they can fill up fast. There is parking at Priory Meadow in the Town Centre which is about a flat 20-minute walk along the seafront to the Old Town.
Venue: Hastings Museum & Art Gallery - John's Place, Bohemia Rd, Hastings TN34 1ET
Access: There is flat access throughout the building for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility. There are passenger lifts and an accessible toilet.
Parking: There is one disabled parking space at the left of the main entrance. There is a drop-off point at the main entrance. The drop-off point has a dropped kerb. There is general parking to the right-hand side of the museum building and along the edge of the driveway leading up to the museum. All parking is free. There is external street lighting around the museum.
Additional on-street parking can be found around the museum, the closest public car park is Falaise Road Car Park

Venue: East Hastings Sea Angling Association (EHSAA) - The Stade, Hastings TN34 3FJ
Access: There is disabled access via a lift. There is step-free access to the toilets, but the toilets themselves are not accessible. Accessible toilets can be found at the Stade Open Space, 75 metres away. These toilets have an attendant until 10pm, they are not accessible via a Radar Key.
Parking: There are two disabled parking spaces at the entrance of the Stade Open space with additional on-street disabled parking along the A259 opposite the Old Town Fryer. The closest public car parks are Rock-a-nore Car Park and The Bourne Car Park.

Venue: The Old Town
Access: Dance spots can be found around the Old Town - The Stade Open Space, Winkle Island, Butler’s Gap, George Street and East Parade. All dance spots are step-free and easily accessible.
Facilities:
The Stade: There are fully accessible toilets, changing places and baby changing facilities , accessed by a ‘bell’ to call the attendant - open 7am to 10pm.
Rock-a-nore: There are accessible toilets and baby changing facilities, open 7am to 9pm. Accessible toilet requires a Radar key or access via attendant.
Pelham Place: There are fully accessible toilets, and baby changing facilities , accessed by a ‘bell’ to call the attendant - open 7am to 10pm.
Parking: There are two disabled parking spaces at the entrance of the Stade Open space with additional on-street disabled parking along the A259 opposite the Old Town Fryer. There are also disabled parking bays near The Blue Dolphin. The closest public car parks are Rock-a-nore Car Park, Pelham Place Car Park and The Bourne Car Park.
Payment: There is a cash machine at the bottom of the High Street near the Blue Dolphin and a Post Office in the Old Town Stores in George Street. Other cash machines can be found in the New Town.

Access: There are steps up to the entrance of the pub. There is no accessible toilet.
Parking: The closest car parks are The Bourne Car Park and Rock-a-nore Car Park. There are two disabled parking spaces at the entrance of the Stade Open space with additional on-street disabled parking along the A259 opposite the Old Town Fryer.

Venue: The White Rock Theatre - White Rock, Hastings TN34 1JX
Access: There is wheelchair access into the venue via a ramp to the right of the entrance. From here there is lift access to all levels within the venue including the Auditorium, White Rock Studio and bar areas. An accessible toilet is located on Level 2.
Parking: There are a number of disabled parking bays situated on the seafront outside the venue. The closest public car parks are The Pier Underground Car Park (closes at 23:00, and steps to the venue), Carlisle Parade Underground Car Park (closes at 23:00), St Margaret’s Road Car Park, Falaise Road Car Park and pelham Place Car Park.

Access: There is a ramped entrance on the side entrance on Croft Road. There is an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities.

Venue: Fishermen’s Museum - Rock-a-Nore Rd, Hastings TN34 3DW
Access: There is step-free access. The floor of the museum is uneven in places. The closest facilities are at Rock-a-nore near the aquarium.
Parking: The closest car parks are Rock-a-nore Car Park and The Bourne Car Park. There are two disabled parking spaces at the entrance of the Stade Open space with additional on-street disabled parking along the A259 opposite the Old Town Fryer. There are also disabled parking bays near The Blue Dolphin.

Venue: The Albion - 33 George St, Hastings TN34 3EA
Access: There is step-free access and outdoor seating. There is a toilet on the ground floor level but it is not an accessible toilet. The closest accessible facilities are the Pelham Place toilets, a 5-minute walk.
Parking: The closest car parks are Pelham Place Car Park, Rock-a-nore Car Park and The Bourne Car Park. There are two disabled parking spaces on the opposite side of the road near the Hastings & St. Leonards Angling Association. There are also two disabled parking spaces at the entrance of the Stade Open space with additional on-street disabled parking along the A259 opposite the Old Town Fryer. There are also disabled parking bays near The Blue Dolphin.

Venue: The West Hill
Location: The West Hill festival site is mostly cut grass that can be uneven in places. There are tarmac paths from Collier Road down to where the stage is.
Access: There is step-free access to the West Hill from the Old Town but via steep paths from Croft Road or Castle Hill Road. The West Hill Lift can transport people to the top of the West Hill. However the West Hill Lift is not wheelchair accessible as there is no step-free access. There is limited access on the carriages for push chairs.
There will be temporary accessible toilets on the West Hill site. These toilets will be situated on the paved area near Priory Road and Collier Road. Baby changing facilities can be found at the West Hill Cliff Railway toilets.
Parking: There is very limited parking on the West Hill. There is one disabled parking spot near The West Hill Cliff Railway. There is pay & display on-street parking in Castle Hill Road and Wellington Road. On-street parking may be found on roads around the West Hill - it will be very busy on all roads. The closest car parks are Castle Hill Car Park and Priory Meadow Car Park. Rock-a-nore Car Park may also be used but the road will be closed from 9am-10:40am-ish and will be very busy. Pelham Place Car Park will be full of motorbikes.
Drop-off/Pick-up: Castle Hill Road/Wellington Road and Collier Road can be used to drop-off to pick-up passengers when the procession is not happening. Vehicles must be moved as quickly as possible to parking in one of the surrounding streets or car parks.
Payment: Most traders will accept both card and cash - there can be issues with 4G/5G reception so payment machines may be unreliable.
Event: The Procession
Participants: The procession is a 2km procession through the public roads of Hastings Old Town. The roads can be uneven with cracks and pot holes. Rock-a-nore, All Saints Street, The Bourne and the High Street are relatively flat. Croft Road leads up to the West Hill and can be steep in places. Collier Road is a flat road that runs from Croft Road to the West Hill Site.
Spectators: The most accessible points to watch the procession are the north ends of All Saints Street, High Street and The Bourne. There is a step-free access in the High Street to the section of high pavement via Torfield Close. The East Side of the High Street between the St Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church and the private Car Park near the Stables Theatre is flat with hardly any spectators offering a great place to watch the procession.
Parking: Parking will be very limited in the Old Town on the Monday. The Bourne Car park will fill up very early and Rock-a-nore Car Park will be very busy - there will be a road closure between 9am and 10:40am of Rock-a-nore Road due to the procession. There will be minimal on-street car parking.
Drop-off/Pick-up: The best places to drop-off/pick-up in the Old Town is the bottom of Old London Road, Harold Road or Torfield Close. During the procession these roads will be inaccessible.
