The Grand Procession

Approx. 10:15 - Jack is Released from the Fishermen’s Museum as the bogies erupt into the street to the cheers from the gathered crowd.

After Jack’s grand entrance there is a sense of calm as Jack is serenaded with his first dance with Hastings RX Women.

The Jack, accompanied by the Bogies and Sal, leads the grand procession through the streets of Hastings Old Town. Expect a procession full of colour and noise!

The procession weaves its way up All Saints Street, across The Bourne and down the High Street

Approx. 11:15 - The procession pauses in the High Street for 45 minutes for a well deserved rest-stop. This stop allows you a chance to see the procession in all its glory. Morris sides can perform a few dances while Jack makes his way back up the High Street to greet all his followers.

Please make way for Jack as he travels through.

Please be aware that the High Street can become very crowded during this time.

Approx. 12noon - The procession reforms before making it’s way up Croft Road, along Collier Road before reaching the West Hill.
