The West Hill is transformed into a hub of excitement and noise for the afternoon. Bring a picnic blanket, find your spot on the hill and enjoy an an afternoon of live entertainment of dancing, singing, drumming and more!
There will be lots of delicious food on offer to cater to all tastes, as well as various clothes and crafts on offer.
Blakely & Lucas will start the proceedings before jack and the procession arrives.
Garry Blakeley is well known for his virtuosic fiddle playing, warm vocals and entertaining delivery. He is a full time member of the celebrated super group Feast of Fiddles. He has played the Irish pub circuit for many years with his great mate Pete Fyfe in the extremely popular duo Band of Two. More recently he has worked with his son Edd Blakeley as Blakeley and Son producing two highly acclaimed albums.
Now he has joined up with his good friend Bear Lucas, an exceptional guitarist and singer and between them they produce an eclectic range of songs and sounds. Bear's influences include the likes of Rory Gallagher, Andy Summers and John Martyn and he is well known for his dynamic chordal arrangements. They have been called stylish and entertaining, exciting and highly energised. Expect a range of well known songs and plenty of lively tunes.

After the procession arrives at the hill, Jack will take to the Main Stage and welcome his followers. Once the entire procession has made it to the West Hill Jack and his attendants will make their way to the Jack Stage and overlook the proceedings. Each of the participating groups from the procession are invited to perform. There will be dancing, singing, drumming and more!.
