Become a participant of the grand procession!

The highlight of the Hastings Traditional Jack in the Green weekend is the grand procession through the streets of Hastings Old Town. Jack, and his attendants, lead the thousands of colourful participants along the 2km+ route. The fun begins in Rock-a-nore Road from 10:15am and arrives up at the West Hill at around 12:30/1pm.

We have sadly closed applications to be part of the procession as an organised group. If you are not part of an organised group but would like to take part you can join the back of the procession, at your own risk, just before Sambalanco.

Please be aware that is a long procession with thousands of people both taking part and watching. The procession route can be uneven in place and is steep towards the end.
