A solo concert with the amazing Garry Blakeley, renowned violinist, multi-instrumentalist and high respected singer songwriter.

Garry is a full and long time member of the celebrated Feast of Fiddles and as such regularly performs along side the likes of Peter Knight (Steeleye Span and Gigspanner) Chris Leslie (Fairport Convention) and Phil Beer (Show of Hands). This will be the first time that he has had the opportunity to play some of the songs and tunes from his highly acclaimed CD The Ceremony of May (the story of Jack in the Green in words and music). This work was a collaborative project with his wife Rose Blakeley, poet and author.

There will also be a mix of traditional songs and fiddle pieces ranging from emotive melodies to frenzied, fiery dance tunes. Garry’s fiddle style covers multiple genres, including traditional, jazz and classical. Add to this the beautiful surroundings of the historic St. Clements Church, which is situated in the heart of Hastings Old Town, you have all the makings of an evening not to be missed.
